Future Campus

Exciting news, Knysna parents:  A visionary, new campus is on its way!
Our single, purpose-built Forest Edge campus will be located in Knysna’s scenic Green Pastures.

A Place For Creativity To Flourish

Our new campus is on 41  hectares of land just above Green Pastures, close to Simola Golf Estate. It overlooks Green Pastures and Eastford, providing the perfect setting to blend nature and education.

Planning is already underway and, once complete, our Forest Edge family can look forward to a mindfully designed environment where creativity, exploration, and discovery flourish.

Preschool to Matric

Our new campus will accommodate children from four months old in our pre-primary school, as well as offer a full preparatory school for Grades 1 – 7, and a college for Grade 8 – 12 high school students.

United Schools

Once completed, our existing schools (Queen Bee and Forest Edge Preparatory, and Forest Edge College) in Knysna will merge and relocate from their current locations in town to the new, purpose-built campus.

Academics & Activities

To help every child blossom into the best, most well-rounded version of themselves, we inspire holistic, personalised learning, based on Christian principles, through our forward-thinking educational approach – incorporating arts, culture, and sport into a structured, IEB curriculum.

Facilities

Planned facilities include two spacious classrooms per grade (with ample room for expansion), a STEAM centre, sports fields, a school hall, a library, computer rooms, and safe outdoor play areas.

Building a Legacy

Over the coming decade, we’ll be planting for tomorrow. Not only trees, but also ideas, infrastructure, and opportunities that will help our school grow and thrive alongside our students.

Our landscaping approach is one of respect and restoration.

By honouring the abundance of indigenous plant life surrounding us, we hope to foster a deep appreciation for the diverse ecosystem above and below the ground. In doing so, we aim to instil a sense of biodiversity stewardship:  a lasting responsibility to care for the land and leave a meaningful legacy for generations to come.

Vision For The Future

Our 10-year development plan reflects a long-term commitment to creating a campus that inspires learning, nurtures curiosity, and supports the holistic growth of every child.

While our united campus is still taking shape, our vision includes purpose-built facilities designed with care.

This is just the beginning.

As our school grows, so too will the experiences, connections, and opportunities we’re able to offer our Forest Edge family.
