IEB Curriculum

We’re an independent, private school, focusing on wholesome development and outdoor education – following a South African IEB curriculum.

Academic Overview

Our school day is intentionally structured for all ages, beginning in Grade RRR.

The IEB culminates in a National Senior Certificate, which is the same qualification received by students following the CAPS curriculum in government / public schools, yet with a greater focus on preparing learners for tertiary education.

Our future matriculants will write their National Senior Certificate (NSC) exam in Grade 12, at the end of their school career.

The IEB curriculum is a set of assessments developed by the Independent Examinations Board (IEB), a private assessment body in South Africa.

Independent / private schools use the IEB’s Subject Assessment Guidelines (SAGs) to prepare students for their examinations, which differ from the national Department of Basic Education (DBE) assessments and are designed to emphasise critical thinking and independent learning.
